For 2024, the Kia Carnival ushers in the brand’s renewed sense of purpose with a brand new design and features centered on comfort and relaxation

When Kia revealed its future outlook on the automotive industry in 2021, the brand, then, defined movement as going beyond the physical act of heading toward a destination, enacting its mission to be the bridge that bonds the physical and emotional connections of its consumers through its range of mobile solutions.

Introduced in 1998, the Kia Carnival was created to fulfill its purpose through the experiences shared within the family. Now, in 2024, the vehicle’s latest iteration retains the inherent qualities of its predecessors while adopting a contemporary yet commanding presence.

Reflective of the brand’s refreshed perspective and its emphasis on design and material quality, this model also takes the family car’s progression alongside modern technology as a way to simulate an environment reminiscent of first class travel through its renewed suite of features.

Such experience begins from the car’s exterior. The Korean manufacturer took to sporting a wider body to further maximize the space, which is then coupled with larger windows and dual sunroofs to create a more ambient environment from within. Apart from this, the minivan’s interior brought the addition of reclining leg rests for the middle row’s premium relaxation seats, creating a personal and comfort-focused experience reminiscent of its sky-bound counterpart.

Aside from the Carnival’s dashboard sporting a 12.3-inch multi-information display and lumbar-supporting driver’s seat, the MPV boasts its new Kia DriveWise suite which arrives in a range of feature sets to create a seamless and secure driving experience.

From a 360-degree view of the vehicle’s surroundings to the brand’s own smart cruise control software, the DriveWise system also features its Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist software, giving the driver an added sense of confidence and assurance during longer drives. Arriving in both the EX and SX variants, both vehicles are described to serve as a testament to the direction that Kia aims to pave for the future of its line of solutions.

By embracing the practical aspects of modern technology, progress stands alongside the brand’s mythos in building not only the relationships within their mobile solutions, but even towards the consumer-base it has amassed over the years. As the fourth generation to the Kia Carnival line, the vehicle aligns its own purpose to reflect the families that resonate in the brand’s reestablished mission along each road it sets it traverses.

“We eagerly anticipate how this exceptional vehicle will enrich the lives of our customers and their families, embodying our vision of driving toward a more refined and inspiring future,” shares the President of Kia Philippines, Antonio Zara III during the MPV’s launch last September.
