Magda Butrym’s Pre-Fall Collection

Drawing inspiration from 90s city chic, Magda Butrym’s Pre-Fall Collection retains its Slavic roots and incorporates its rose symbol in its delicate prints, meticulous embellishments, and intricate 3D renditions. All in all, the collection is a testament to the brand’s design philosophy and craftsmanship.

Burtym shares, “The collection is more than just fashion; it’s a narrative of dreams, simplicity, and authenticity. It’s our heritage reborn in modern form.”

Tamara Ralph Spring/Summer 2024 Couture Show

Returning to Paris for her sixteenth season of couture and the second season with her brand, Tamara Ralph’s Spring/Summer 2024 show exuded pure elegance. In collaboration with Audemars Piguet, the dreamy and divine collection features soft pastel hues, radiant reds, yellows, and velvet blacks. Flower embellishments, crystals, pearls, and chainmail detailing are also key details in the collection.

“My collection is designed to stand the test of time, whilst also serving as a reminder of how invaluable the notion of time truly is,” says Tamara Ralph.

Maison George Hobeika Couture Spring 2024

Lebanese designer George Hobeika presents his Spring 2024 collection at Karl Lagerfeld’s former residence, unveiling his heartfelt tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East. Co-creative directors George and Jade Hobeika dedicated the collection as a love letter to the women and culture that nurtured and continues to influence them.

Drawing inspiration from Arab women throughout history, Hobeika blended contemporary cuts with bold hues and traditional Middle Eastern embroidery patterns. Surrealist elements were also present, taking the form of coffee-shaped earrings, tapestry and rugs worn as dresses, or skirts ingeniously wrapped around the models’ bodies.

Miss Sohee Couture Spring 2024

Inspired by her recent travels to Seoul, Miss Sohee’s collection takes antique objects such as porcelain vases, pearl jewelry boxes, wooden fans, and other treasures and transforms it into beautiful couture. The collection includes fitted see-through corsets, capes embroidered in a cascade of flowers, daring thigh-high slits, figure-hugging gowns, and open back dresses. The collection is also a collaboration with South Korean artisans, who crafted handbags and fans using a slow-weaving technique made with hemp sourced in the artisans’ communities.

Robert Wun Couture Spring 2024

Transforming the runway into a beautiful and theatrical horror movie, Robert Wun’s couture spring 2024 collection is a crossover between American Horror Story and Beetlejuice. Wun explores the theme of fear and challenges the relentless nature of the design process. Notably, fashion content creator Wisdom Kaye also walked the runway wearing a long coat adorned with raindrop crystals.
