Earlier this week, as the spring menswear season came to a close in Paris, Simon Porte Jacquemus presented his latest collection at the Palace of Versailles. Anyone who was anyone was in attendance, including, of course, Bretman Rock. Vogue caught up with Rock as he got ready to attend the designer’s latest spectacle.
For hair and makeup inspiration, Rock looked at the hints Jacquemus had dropped on social media ahead of the debut of the latest collection. One consistent theme was cherries. With the help of makeup artist, Patrick Ta and hair stylist, Cesar Deleon Ramirez, the star’s glam came to life. Soon, he was off to the show in a matching beige Jacquemus set with his mini fan in hand.
In classic Jacquemus fashion, this was not your typical runway show. Once guests arrived at the show’s location, they got in little boats on a pond, which escorted them to the 400-meter cherry-red runway.
