“When we apply color to our faces—to the eyes or anywhere else—we are, above all, accepting an invitation to show our feelings, our state of mind and especially our emotions,” says Gregoris Pyrrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty. With this in mind, Hermès launched its Trait d’Hermès collection last month, a selection of forty shades for the eyes and lips in the form of pencils.

The collection is composed of twenty-four eye pencils and sixteen for the lips, as well as an eyeliner, pencil sharpener, and the latest addition to Les Pinceaux Hermès, the L’estompeur de précision brush. “The Hermès color palette is boundless, offering variations that extend to the very limits of the visible,” says Pierre-Alexis Dumas, Hermès’ artistic director.

For the eyes, classic shades of Noir Fusain, Brun Bistre, and Bleu Nuit are combined with striking colors such as Vert Malachite, Bleuet, and Violet Indigo in a water-resistant formula that is gentle to sensitive eyes. As for the lips, the sixteen shades include Rouge Érable and Beige Thé, made with a precision pencil tip for easy application. Available in the Encre Noire shade, the eyeliner is made with a water-resistant, quick-drying, and long-wear formula.

The pencil sharpener features a magnetic closure and a small shavings reservoir, available in three two-tone versions: Noir Fusain, Rouge H, and Vert Vérone. Lastly, the Le’estompeur de précision brush is made with a lacquered wooden handle encircled by a green band and bristles that are a blend of natural and synthetic fibers.

Together with global fragrance company Interparfums, Lacoste launches the new Lacoste Original Eau de Parfum, a contemporary remake of the original 1984 fragrance of the same name., which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. “As a brand, Lacoste combines timeless freshness with creative frenzy. The idea behind this sophisticated fragrance is to express movement in all its forms in a unique, powerful creation,” says perfumer Anne Flipo, who created the remake with Tanguy Guesnet.

In the Philippines, the arrival of the fragrance was celebrated with an immersive experience hosted by Rustan Marketing Corporation. The event offered an interactive “fragrance discovery” experience, where guests were provided with a guided introduction to the Lacoste Original Eau de Parfum. Additionally, an “Original Cinema” display premiered the Lacoste Original campaign visuals in the Philippines, featuring the brand’s master perfumers and ambassadors.
