From champagne and food pairings to live jazz music, Moët & Chandon invited 40 friends from fashion, entertainment, sports, and gastronomy for an intimate dinner
In mid-November, Moët & Chandon welcomed the holidays with an exclusive dinner with friends of the house including Michelle Dee, Max Collins, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, JC Intal, Jess Wilson, Moritz Gastl, Nix Alanon, Rajo Laurel, and Vania Romoff . Upon arrival, they were greeted with Mini Moët bottles.
The venue was draped in sheer white fabrics and illuminated by lights akin to sunset, which parallels the French winery’s 2024 holiday theme of white and gold. The motif extended to the table décor, featuring tall tapered candles, golden candelabras, and gilded cutlery as an ode to the color of champagne, creating a visual complement to the guests’ attire of white, black, and red.
By dinner, each dish was paired with the French brand’s roster of champagne. The Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut opened the meal, followed by a glass of Moët & Chandon Impérial Rosé, whose fruity notes paired exquisitely with seared duck breast with grand mariner, cherry compote, alongside a serving of tuna tataki.
As the evening unfolded, a hidden stage was unveiled, followed by a live performance of jazz classics by singer Jose Miguel. After his set, guests gathered around the piano for a spontaneous sing-along, bringing to life the spirit of a beloved family Christmas tradition.
The centerpiece of this year’s festivities is the launch of Moët & Chandon’s 2024 Holiday Edition. According to the brand, the design is true to its 281-year history of blending tradition with creativity, unveiling a nature-inspired design that draws on the beauty of the Champagne region. This year’s gift boxes are adorned with golden grapes, lush leaves, and natural patterns, “capturing the splendor of Champagne vines and honoring the transformative power of nature.”
