In a balancing act, light illuminates by casting shadows. Sheer and printed fabrics are layered and draped, clinging to the female form in and out of focus.

Let your gaze fall on a spotlighted shoulder, collarbone, or cheek. All the bright places tell you where to look.

In a fashion story for Vogue Philippines’ February 2024 issue, photographer Osman Ösel captures model J Moon between paper panels and the faint light rays that decorate a dusky wall. Stylist Peninah Amanda plays with weighty fabrics and printed surfaces from Marni, Versace, and Roksanda, formatting mediums through which light can bounce off and pass through.
