See Bretman Rock and All The Guests at the First Vogue Philippines Mystery Dinner

The magazine hosted an intimate gathering with a special surprise for a select group of the country’s creative leaders and society figures.

“Sparkle” was the theme of the night as Vogue Philippines hosted its first Mystery Dinner at the Manila House Private Club at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on March 1. The guests to the special event were invited without being given a hint of what the night holds for them. 

Following the welcome remarks of Vogue Philippines’ editor-in-chief Bea Valdes, the surprise for the guests was revealed: joining them for dinner was social media personality and YouTube sensation Bretman Rock. “This is really an opportunity to have a deep conversation with the person across the table or the person beside you,” said Valdes in a short speech explaining the idea behind the Mystery Dinner. “Maybe discover something new about yourself as well.” The diverse group who joined Bretman, who was resplendent in a vintage Alexander McQueen top and Eckhaus Latta pants from Univers, included Cong. Toff De Venecia, photographer Shaira Luna, artist Bea Elizalde, and host Mond Gutierrez. The group were treated to a specially-prepared dinner by Manila House, and were later gifted with beauty products from Drunk Elephant and NARS, as well as the latest Vogue Philippines magazine.
