Mexico’s Fátima Bosch Wins Miss Universe 2025

Mexico’s Fátima Bosch is crowned Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. A model, content creator, and designer, Bosch advocates for mental health and women’s empowerment. 

“As a woman and Miss Universe, I will put my voice and the power in the service of others because nowadays, we are here to speak up, to make change, and have everything. Because we are woman and the brave ones that stand up are the ones that will make history,” Bosch answers in the first Q and A round.

Philippines representative Ahtisa Manalo took the third runner-up spot at the 74th Miss Universe pageant. This entry marks her 18th and last pageant, following a personal history of competing since she was 10 years old. Because of her doll-like features, Manalo has been dubbed by fans and the media as the “Pambansang Manika” (“National Doll”).

For the final Q and A, the top 5 finalists answer the question: “If you win the title of Miss Universe tonight, how would you use this platform to empower young girls?”

Manalo answers, “I work with an organization called Alon Akademie, where we work with young people to provide them opportunities to make them realize that it doesn’t matter what your life circumstances is, it doesn’t define where you will go. And I want to continue working with Alon Akademie in a bigger platform like Miss Universe to pursue, making sure that people who come from low-income backgrounds are given the same opportunities as everyone else.”

Working with Alon Akademie, Manalo champions youth development, social skills, and entrepreneurship. She is also an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and advocates for gender equality. As a businesswoman, she co-owns cafés in Australia (Café Noun and Call Me Harris) and has helped grow food brands in the Philippines, including Koomi and Oh My Greek.
