The actors update the classic suit and tie with subtle designs, statement accessories, and a splash of color.

At the 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, the women weren’t the only ones having fun with fashion. Whether it was putting a twist to the typical black suit and tie or accessorizing to add personality to their classic looks, the men on the SAG red carpet looked sharp and had plenty of variety.

Eddie Redmayne

Redmayne, who was nominated for his performance in The Good Nurse, went non-traditional with a Saint Laurent Lavalliere Heritage blouse from the Fall 2023 runway. He kept the rest of his ensemble simple: black wide-legged pants and a black patent heel rounded up the look, keeping his blouse the focal point.

Ke Huy Quan

The Everything Everywhere All At Once star and winner of the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor chose a navy blue Gucci suit with a black lapel over a white shirt and a black bowtie, a classic black Omega De Ville Prestige wristwatch, and a twist: a brooch, which seems to be the actor’s statement accessory of choice this awards season.

Andrew Garfield

A presenter at the SAG Awards, Garfield wore a custom double-breasted navy tuxedo by Valentino paired with a white button-down shirt. He accessorized this with the Omega De Ville Prestige watch in 18K Sedna™ Gold. In an interview, Garfield’s stylist Warren Alfie Baker described his look as “a bit more of a relaxed feel” and “a cool, sexy vibe.”

Brendan Fraser

Fraser, who won for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor, wore a black Zegna suit, a black button-down shirt, and a black bowtie. Looking closely, the actor’s jacket features frosted embossed details that give it that added character. He accessorized this with a stainless-steel Omega De Ville Prestige watch and black-rimmed glasses.

Mescal, who was nominated for his role in Aftersun, wore a jacket over a navy button-down shirt with a twist: the sheer longline jacket by Simone Rocha featured diamond and pearl floral detailing at the bottom.

The Eternals and Banshees of Inisherin star chose to go with white on the SAG carpet. He donned an all-white Louis Vuitton suit and partnered it with an Omega Globemaster and black shoes.
