As The Beckhams’ Love Story Lands On Netflix, Revisit Victoria’s Ultimate WAG Wardrobe

The airport is famously Victoria Beckham’s preferred runway, but once upon a time, football stadiums provided the backdrop to her looks. Before her eponymous brand was on the Paris Fashion Week schedule, Beckham felt right at home in the stands, wearing outfits that any Noughties football fan could identify with.
o cheer on husband David on the pitch, VB adopted what became an instantly recognisable fashion formula: bug-eye sunglasses, strappy tops with low-cut necklines, Birkin bags, dazzling watches and just a splash of tongue-in-cheek England merch. These days, VB is far more likely to be found in a swishy colour block dress or a sharply tailored blazer, but as Beckham, a docuseries charting David’s rise to football stardom – and the Posh and Becks origin story – lands on Netflix, a nation of fashion fans is feeling nostalgic for the early days of Victoria’s wardrobe.
