Victoria and David Beckham Nail His-and-Hers Suits

Victoria and David Beckham have consistently nailed couple style since they began dating back in the ’90s. Not to quote the Spice Girls or anything, but twinning is what happens “when two become one.” Remember when they rocked matching head-to-toe leather Versace looks in the nineties? Since then, their personal style has evolved. They’re less focused on doubling up on outfits, and instead dress in a complementary manner. Both share a penchant for great coats and sleek tailoring. Case in point: The impeccable ensembles they wore tonight to the Beckham premiere in London, Netflix’s new documentary exploring David’s meteoric rise to football stardom.

Proving they’re still very much in sync, the Beckhams nailed his-and-hers suits in a way that felt both cohesive and in line with both of their personal aesthetics. Victoria chose a white double-breasted suit (likely her own design) without a top underneath, giving the tux a sexy, modern feel. As always, she paired it with a sky-high pump—would it be a Posh Spice look without one? David, meanwhile, went classic and debonair—his fashion M.O.—in a deep navy suit, complete with a white button-up, tie, and leather loafers.

While some couples embrace polar-opposite dressing (cough, the Biebers, cough), you’ll simply never catch the Beckhams looking uncoordinated. Especially on the red carpet.
