It’s a huge day for the marrying kind – Le Mariage, a Jacquemus wedding collection, now exists in the world. Cool brides (and grooms) have already been saying their I dos wearing pieces from Simon Porte Jacquemus’s ready-to-wear line (because any dress can be a wedding dress as long as you get married in it), but now the French designer has made it official. The column dress with spaghetti straps and black trim on an extra-long hem that creates a subtle focus around the body would suit a modern, minimalist bride, and a sheer strapless silk-chiffon number with delicate flower embroidery and a built-in bustier bodysuit underneath looks tailor-made for a beach wedding.

While many designers have launched bridal capsule collections of late, the Jacquemus wedding collection caters not only to brides but grooms, the mother and father of the bride, and, of course, the guests. There are three handsome suit options: a grey wool suit with a sleek collarless double-breasted jacket and slouchy trousers, a tan suit with a slightly cropped jacket and pleated trousers, and a classic double-breasted tuxedo with satin lapels and piping.

With this collection, Jacquemus really created an easy, one-stop shop. He offers one style of shoes for women and men each: his innovative Les Doubles Sandales in white or black and white and a classic pair of black derbies. Everything is offered in a tightly edited palette of black, white and red: sexy, skintight draped dresses, miniskirts made for dancing, and oversized blouses to tie around the waist loosely, plus chic bikinis, maillots and cover-ups to wear for any pre- or post-wedding festivities. (And if you want to be extra – and who doesn’t want to be extra at their wedding? – there are matching towels available as well.) Cold feet? Not if Jacquemus has anything to say about it.
