Dior gathered celebrities from all over the world at their Spring Summer 2023 show during Paris Fashion Week.
Paris Fashion Week has begun and, as the fashion houses roll out their Spring Summer 2023 ready-to-wear collections, some of the world’s biggest stars are coming out to watch. Just yesterday, Christian Dior, headed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, released a collection that looked to the future, while being shaped by the past. Chiuri’s pieces this season are reminiscent of women’s skirts at the court of Catherine de Medici, interweaving sections of the map of Paris. This lineup is an “homage to fashion as an art of invention” where facets of history can be redefined over and over. The show, which was touted as one of the most anticipated events of the season, had a star-studded audience to match and It girls from various fields all over the world gathered for Dior.
Academy Award-winning actress and face of Miss Dior Natalie Portman came in an elegant black cape dress and round shades to match. She was joined by other actors Alexandra Daddario, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rosamund Pike, and Park Hee-jung. Blackpink member and Dior global ambassador Jisoo arrived in a Dior Cruise dress and mini Lady D-Lite bag. She was spotted earlier in a Dior jacket and bag at the Incheon Airport on the way to Paris.
Model, fashion designer, and purveyor of “French girl style” Jeanne Damas made an appearance, alongside fellow Parisienne, actress Lucie Zhang. They were joined by renowned author and Women’s rights activist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Breakout singer Celeste Epiphany Waite was also in attendance. She wore a velvet Dior suit with cropped pants, along with “Dior Vibe” star and international rock climbing phenom Margo Hayes, who was in a metallic Dior jacket and pleated skirt.
