Guests are invited to walk through the rooms that weave together Filipino fashion identity of the past, present and future.

As Vogue Threads Manila 2026 seeks to reconstruct the definition of A.I. as being of Ancestral or Artistic Intelligence, the Fashion House isolates such knowledge away from the artificial and into the authentic. An immersive five-part journey, guests are invited to walk through the rooms that weave together Filipino fashion identity of the past, present and future.

In the transformation of A.I. into Ancestral intelligence, the Fashion House offers rooms dedicated to the mind and memory. At these exhibits, generations of sacred, indigenous craft are honored to harmonize spiritual intention and ecological impact. In visualizing the fashion continuum through keepsakes, Filipino identity is unveiled to predicate Filipino creativity.

Meanwhile, as A.I. is revised into Artistic Intelligence, the Fashion House celebrates the hands of innovation. The balancing act of reinterpretation and respect for Ancestral Intelligence breeds novelty. Through contemporary challenges of time-honored wisdom, the traditions that pillar the Filipino fashion identity are bolstered into the global space.

Beginning with Vogue Philippines’ own journey to chronicle the Filipino fashion landscape, the first room in the Fashion House is dedicated to a retrospective of Vogue Philippines covers.

The room is adorned with ensembles that have captured the past four years of sartorial imagery at Vogue Philippines, accompanied by their corresponding prints to extract the stories behind the garments. The exhibition also places attendees in the unique position of the editors. By reconfiguring the pages to Vogue’s fourth September issue featuring global pop star Olivia Rodrigo through the lens of fine art photographer Szilveszter Makó, participants can better understand the analog process of how the magazine comes alive.

They say that every person is a mosaic of everyone they have ever loved, and designers are no different. Across two rooms at the Fashion House, eminent designers Patis Tesoro, Josie Natori, Wynn Wynn Ong, Bea and Marga Valdes, Rita Nazareno, Natalya Lagdameo, Joyce Makitalo, Mich Dulce, Gabbie Sarenas, Len Cabili, Lulu Tan-Gan, and Jo Ann Bitagcol share their ephemera that has sculpted their creative legacy. In a presentation that portrays the Filipino baul as both a keeper of stories and a mainstay of Filipino culture, guests are treated to an intimate appreciation of pieces that scatter familial love, not only within the four walls of the bahay, but in mementos and keepsakes.

Set to a spectral soundscape, a solo exhibition by artist and sculptor Michelline Syjuco anachronizes tradition at the Fashion House through her one-off mixed media pieces. Born to a family of avant-gardists, her passion for fantasy, sorcery and swords forge The Return of Savant Garde, her first collection since a decades-long hiatus from the wearable art scene. A chronology of her practice from Armadillion in 2008 to London Fashion Week in 2015 and Paris Design Week in 2016, the gallery culminates in her newest body of work for Vogue Threads Manila 2026.

For 2026, Iñigo Elizalde Rugs invites guests at the Fashion House to pick apart the minds behind the carpets. Upon entering, a beautiful tropical landscape offers insight into the studio’s creative process of finding inspiration in nature. Through a ceiling of draped throws and runners, visitors find themselves at a recreation of the studio as a satellite space for discovery and exploration. Taking inspiration from scenic photographs and image manipulations, the designer promises unique spaces for play one knot at a time.
