After a successful debut last year, Yari returns with another edition of its collective pop-up market with 14 local Filipino designers.

Manila’s retail landscape may be defined by sprawling malls and commercial chains, but a new generation of designers is carving out its own space through Yari, a collective pop-up market for three nights at the Open Space in Legazpi Village. “[It] started off as an idea and a conversation,” says designer Renee de Guzman of R/Studios. “For us, Yari is also an avenue for creatives to showcase their work at a shared community space,” one that brings together over a dozen designers.

Following the success of its inaugural edition, Yari returns this July with the same community-first ethos, laying the foundation for many more pop-ups to come. “We really saw this as an opportunity to connect with the people who appreciate craft and to start conversations regarding the stories behind the pieces,” de Guzman says. “Yari feels driven by curiosity, emotions, art, fashion, and connection—which also makes it feel so human at the same time.”

Check out all of the designers trading at Yari below.
