At Villa Arconati, Pia Jauncey wore Bulgari’s Eclettica High Jewelry with a vibrant red gown, creating a look that echoed the collection’s artistic references.
In the frescoed halls and gardens of Villa Arconati, Bulgari introduced its Eclettica High Jewelry collection, with Pia Jauncey in a bold red Mark Bumgarner gown styled with pieces from the line. On March 23, the brand gathered guests for the launch, where Jauncey wore the vibrant “Intrinsic Exuberance” high jewelry necklace, paired it with the “Kaleidoscope Symphony” rose gold bracelet, and the “Color Treasures” ring.
“This collection really represents us, because being eclectic is part of our DNA. Rome itself is eclectic, a place where centuries of art coexist, inspire each other, and constantly generate new beauty. Eclettica distills this spirit: different worlds, different arts, converging into one unmistakably Bulgari creative language,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari Group, in a press statement.
For the occasion, Jauncey’s necklace draws on Antoni Gaudí’s architectural language, known for its organic, nature-driven forms. The piece centers on a mix of colored gemstones, including amethysts, aquamarines, tourmalines, and citrines. The look comes into focus against the setting of Villa Arconati, which hosted the gala dinner and high jewelry presentation. Often referred to as the “little Versailles of Milan,” the villa is associated with the study of Leonardo da Vinci’s codices, adding a quieter historical layer to the evening.
“Being at these shows exposes me to a diverse range of designers and their creative visions. I get to witness firsthand how different cultures, trends, and artistic influences shape fashion on a global scale. It’s like stepping into a melting pot of creativity where innovation and tradition collide,” Jauncey said in a previous interview with Vogue Philippines in 2024.
The Eclettica High Jewelry collection includes more than 160 creations, with 14 transformable pieces, over 50 high jewelry designs, and nine works under the name Capolavori (Italian for masterpieces). The collection moves through references to sculpture, painting, and architecture, shaping its overall direction.
Among the guests were Bulgari Global Ambassadors Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Liu Yifei, and Kim Ji Won, as well as newly announced faces Dua Lipa and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Jauncey, the first Filipino friend of the house, continues to build her presence on the global fashion stage, with appearances like this reflecting her growing role within it.
