The Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes of 2024

Spooky season lovers, rejoice: ’Tis officially Halloween! This past weekend, celebrities already got into the spirit by attending a number of bashes—and debuting their clever costumes, of course. Stars, after all, have a history of creating elaborate and over-the-top costumes in honor of the ghoulish holiday; It was only natural that they spared no expense again this year. In honor of the creativity, Vogue is rounding up some of the best celebrity costumes from Halloween 2024.

Who made the list thus far? Couple Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were some of the first celebrities to debut their coordinated costumes: Gomez wore Rodarte for her Alice in Wonderland look, while Blanco went full-on theatrical in his Mad Hatter getup. Sophie Turner went as Trinity from The Matrix—and her sleek patent leather bodysuit and tiny shades were on point. Lizzo, meanwhile, pointed to the Ozempic craze by dressing up as a box of “Lizzo” diet suppressor, which promises to make you gain confidence.

Yesterday, meanwhile, Kylie Jenner debuted her 2024 Halloween costume: a Barbarella-inspired look. Janelle Monáe paid tribute to the classic film E.T. (in epic style).
