Fresh from passing the crown at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 grand coronation, Michelle Dee talks about her journey and how it intertwines with her view on beauty and self-care. Wearing her Apo Whang-Od-inspired gown during her final walk was not just a fashion statement but a tribute to her journey. “Wearing it again felt like I was also giving homage to every story, every drop of sweat, and every ounce of effort that came after is all of ours to share.”

In a recent video shared during her shoot for Belo’s Thermage FLX, the 29-year-old, along with long-time makeup artist Dave Quiambao, opened up about her skincare struggles particularly with water retention. “My recurring problem is the puffiness around my face that I couldn’t get rid of,” she confides.
After trying on the procedure, Dee noticed a healthy lift to her face, “What I love about Thermage is that it works with what God has already given me. It [amplifies] those things that I need a little bit of help with,” she shares, adding that the treatment was also effective on certain parts of her body.
