In his newest campaign with TUMI, the South Korean football player demonstrates how his bags always have his back

Son Heung-min is not just an international football sensation but a seasoned traveler navigating from the north of London to the storied landscapes of Europe, and even returning to his roots in Seoul for pre-season friendly matches. For the South Korean, travel has been a constant fixture of his life, moving from Chuncheon, South Korea to Germany at 16, he has since become a cornerstone of both his national team and Tottenham Hotspur as their captain.

Amid the backdrop of airports, hotels, and stadiums, Son has travel essentials always at the ready. Just two bags that complement his rigorous schedule: a backpack and a carry-on luggage.

In a new campaign with TUMI called “Made For Moments That Make Us,” the global ambassador gives a glimpse into the athlete’s life featuring the Tegra-Lite® and Alpha Bravo collections. Set in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the campaign is a blend of intimate and stylistic narratives captured through the lens of filmmaker WARD and the Korean photography duo JI + DOH.

“I was personally excited for this campaign to be set in my home away from home,” says the Tottenham Hotspur captain.

In the campaign video, Son, equipped with his two bags, the Tegra-Lite® and Alpha Bravo Navigation backpack with his name proudly displayed on the nameplate, transitions seamlessly from the locker room to the pitch, from intense press conferences to moments of rest and recovery. The video is reminiscent of his initial campaign with TUMI as their global ambassador, highlighting his philosophy that amidst repetition lies the opportunity for new experiences.

Son reflects on the collaboration, stating, “I always value that TUMI is there for me and has my back, whatever journey I’m on.”
