Both local and international cuisines intertwine at the heart of one of its provinces

Throughout the multitude of cuisines present in each region, the province of Pampanga is often regarded as the country’s food capital. Even within the region, Clark Freeport stands out as one of the area’s most notable culinary destinations. A favored destination for epicures, this affinity for food has extended not just through local tastes, but also invites recipes from across the globe.

Among the area’s most notable eateries is Goji Kitchen+Bar. The all-day buffet features cooking that pays homage to local favorites, such as mango and turnips with bagoong, daily street food items, and shrimp buro fermented rice among the restaurant’s mainstays. Goji Kitchen+Bar also features international stations, with both European and Asian menus that incorporate rural ingredients from the surrounding flatland.

Ristorante di Verona is a diner that specializes in bridging Italian sensibilities to the Filipino palate. The restaurant offers a variety of handmade pastas, platters of cured prosciutto, and ripe cheeses, that can each be paired with their selection of over three-hundred wines sourced directly from Italian vineyards.

For those looking for more adventurous delicacies, Smoki Moto serves authentic Korean cuisine within its industrial interior. Among its mainstays is their Bibim Magguksu, a chilled noodle salad dressed in hot, sweet, and sour Korean chili. Apart from its Korean dishes, the establishment also offers grilled steaks in a variety of different cuts, including a selection of highly-marbled black angus beef and tomahawk steaks respectively.

An establishment that specializes in Asian palates, Wu Xing features a wide range of Chinese cuisine alongside a curated selection of wines and teas. The restaurant had become popular among residents and visitors for its authentic Peking duck, which has been marinated and roasted with locally produced star-apples, resulting in soft and delicious flesh and crispy skin among its other delicacies.
