Jake Verzosa is a Manila-based freelance photographer whose career began in fashion and commercial photography.
After taking a documentary workshop class in 2007, he shifted his focus towards more personal work that centered on local life, youth stories, social issues and shifting cultures.
He was commissioned by the ASEAN for the books called “Young Southeast Asia” and “Where The Children Are” which were released in 2007 and 2009 respectively.
His work has been displayed in several exhibits all over the world, including locations in Manila, Tokyo, Singapore, Amsterdam, and Paris.
