It was Barbie herself who invited fans to spend a night in her iconic home, Barbie’s Dreamhouse, to celebrate her 60th birthday a few years ago. Now, it’s Ken’s turn to play host. Ahead of the release of Barbie—the upcoming Greta Gerwig film that brings the candy pink world of the iconic doll, played by Margot Robbie, to the big screen—Airbnb is offering two separate one-night stays at her Malibu villa. The catch? “While Barbie is away, Ken is listing his room on Airbnb.” And because Ken is “just Ken,” he couldn’t figure out how to set the price, so the stay is free! The stays are scheduled for July 21 and July 22, 2023, which coincides with the official release date of the movie.

What’s on the agenda? Visitors will be able to sleep in Ken‘s room and enjoy its panoramic view over the ocean. In keeping with Mattel‘s marshmallow vibes, the villa includes an outdoor dance floor, a vast infinity pool and many other surprises. Not to mention Ken’s personal belongings, such as a huge wardrobe to rival’s Barbie‘s, his impressive cowboy outfit, his surfboards, his gym equipment, his rollerblades and his guitar.
To try your luck at winning a stay, all you have to do is log on to the Airbnb website on Monday 17 July from 10am PT (7pm in France).
