Mazel tov to Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky and their son, who will soon be a big brother.
After a mesmerizing, Alaïa-clad Super Bowl halftime show that had Twitter frantically wondering whether or not Rihanna was pregnant again, a representative for the singer confirmed on Sunday that she is indeed expecting her second child with partner A$AP Rocky.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s first child, a boy whose name the couple has yet to disclose to the public, was born in May of 2022. The couple has been mostly private about the details surrounding their growing family, but Rocky recently gushed about being “a full dad now” to Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, adding: “I can’t even explain it, man. You come home to heaven every day. I’m so thankful. God is good, man.”
Rihanna, for her part, has long been open about her desire for a big family, but she’s vehemently opposed to the pressure placed on many women to get married before having kids, telling Vogue’s Chioma Nnadi last May: “I always thought it would be marriage first, then a baby, but who the fuck says it has to be that way? I’m certainly not gonna let that get in the way of me being a mom.” Mazel tov to the happy couple and their son, who will soon be a big brother!

Singing pregnant is the hardest thing (other than giving birth) that I’ve ever done, it literally feels like suffocating with every note. So to give a mini concert whilst a human sits on your diaphragm is top tier.
