This March, there are plenty of things to look forward to: the opening of Theatre Group Asia’s highly-anticipated production of A Chorus Line, the Philippine Book Festival, and the string of events celebrating women. Remain In Light: A Benefit Exhibition
From March 6 to 20, an exhibition for a cause will be held at the Garapata Store in Quezon City. Titled “Remain in Light: A Benefit Exhibition,” the show will feature 31 artists and 3 writers, including live performances by Dong Abay and Vinty Lava. The artist reception will be held on March 8, from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.
Himagsikan sa Maginhawa
For a day of food, music, and art, head to Maginhawa Street on March 7. Starting at 10:00 A.M., the food and art market will be open for visitors to shop and eat at, while performances will be held in the evening at 6:30 P.M. To register, visit this link.
South Sunday Market
On March 8, 15, and 22, you can spend you Sundays at the South Sunday Market in Molito Lifestyle Partner. The open-air market has plenty to offer: farm-fresh produce, artisanal pantry staples, coffee and matcha, pastries, specialty ingredients, fresh flowers, and handmade goods. A Chorus Line by Theatre Group Asia
From March 12 to 29, Theatre Group Asia begins the Philippine run of A Chorus Line at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, Circuit Makato. Directed and choreographed by Emmy Award-winning Karla Puno Garcia, the story follows the emotional and physical struggles of 17 professional dancers auditioning for a spot in a new Broadway show. Philippine Book Festival 2026
From March 12 to 15, the Philippine Book Festival returns to SM Megamall. With a forest or jungle theme this year, the fair brings Filipino authors and illustrators, Pinoy-authored titles, and workshops to the Megatrade Hall. To register, visit this link.

Land on Your Feet: Women’s Self-defense Workshop for the Cats of Salcedo Village
If you’re a woman looking to learn how to defend yourself, a self-defense workshop will be held at Open Mat Makati on March 21. Named “Land on Your Feet,” the workshop will focus on awareness, quick reactions, and practical technqiues. In addition to learning self-defense, the proceeds of the session will support the vetting, fostering, CNVR, and feeding efforts of the Cats of Salcedo Village.
