How To Help The Victims Of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng

As the region recovers from the effects of the severe tropical storm, here is a list of volunteer and donation drives.

Tropical Storm Paeng (internationally known as Nalgae) barreled through the Philippines over the weekend, with dragging in torrential rain and strong winds of up to 75 kilometers per hour on Friday, October 28, through Saturday. This caused widespread flooding and damage, particularly across provinces in the South, particularly Cotabato on Mindanao.

During the typhoon’s onslaught, 45 casualties were reported so far, with 14 people missing and over 8,000 temporarily homeless.

In the wake of this natural disaster, and with storms expected to continue through the weekend, relief efforts are being set up by institutions and organizations. If you’re hoping to extend a hand to the affected areas, here is a list of initiatives calling for help:
