A round-up of the K-Pop group’s individual appearances as they take a two-week break from their Born Pink world tour
After their successful two-day concert in Manila, K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK has some time before their next concert tour stop in Japan on April 8 and 9, followed by their highly-anticipated return to Coachella as the first K-Pop act to headline the event. Instead of taking a break, the members of the group have been busy with their individual projects, whether it’s fulfilling their brand ambassadorship duties, exploring solo artistic endeavors, or cheering on their fellow members.
Here’s a round-up of where Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo have been spotted recently.
Jennie as the New Face of Chanel 22
As Chanel’s ambassador since 2017, Jennie has maintained a good relationship with the brand over the years. She modeled their Coco Neige collection in 2021 and 2022 and appeared in their Coco Crush fine jewelry campaign. Most recently, Jennie has been announced as the fourth face of the Chanel 22 bag, joining Margeret Qualley, Lily-Rose Depp, and Whitney Peak in a campaign shot by Dutch-American fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Rosé at the Met Steps
Rosé arrived in New York ahead of the group’s Coachella performance in two weeks for an event at the Metropolitan Museum. She posed at The Met steps wearing a plain black gown adorned by a necklace and bracelet pair from Tiffany & Co. She kept her look simple by keeping her blonde hair down and donning a clean makeup look. The performer was co-hosting the event celebrating the museum’s partnership with Korean beauty brand Sulwhasoo. Joining her were fellow ambassadors Yuh-Jung Young and Jia Song.
Lisa at the Celine Pop-Up
As Celine’s first global ambassador, it was no surprise that Lisa showed up at the opening of the brand’s pop-up store in Seoul. The rapper’s head-to-toe Celine look was trending on Twitter because she diverted from her glam rock looks, opting instead for the cropped Chelsea jacket with button in tweed over a black cropped corset, and a matching Trapeze mini skirt in tweed. She accessorized this with a Triomphe bag in shiny calfskin, socks and strappy sandals. Throughout the month, Lisa has been seen donning the brand’s latest releases, in events and on her Instagram.
Jisoo Releases Her First Single Album
Jisoo closes out the month by releasing her first solo album, ME, across all streaming platforms. The two-track album features the songs “Flower,” which came out with an accompanying music video today, and “All Eyes On Me.” The music video for “Flower” reached one million views just four minutes after its release, becoming the top trending video for music on YouTube. Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have all shown their support for their fellow BLACKPINK member by sharing her album on their Instagram stories.
