Since the early 1900s, March has been tied into informal celebrations to honor the struggles and achievements of women, with International Women’s Day on the 8th of the month connected to several momentous historical events in the name of gender equality. Women’s Month has since been recognized by the United Nations and is celebrated across the globe in a whole range of ways.

As we find ourselves in the midst of a digital generation, there are countless platforms for individuals to find their voice on. Lately, one such medium that has been prospering more than most has been podcasting. Halfway into the women’s month celebrations, we’re taking a look at the best women-led podcasts from local and international creators that you should look into.

Flex and Froomes

Headed by co-hosts Lilian Ahenkan (Flex Mami) and Lucinda Price (Frooms), the award-winning podcast tackles topics from identity to intersectionality and mental health.
