The Vogue Philippines Gala marked the title’s first year. Echoing the stories told through the first 11 issues, the gala explored many conversations in the realm of fashion and the Filipino identity: a 26-course dinner that journeyed through Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao; fashion’s relationship with technology; the future of fashion as told via artificial intelligence; and our responsibility to the natural environment.
This approach is also in alignment with that of all other Vogue titles, prioritizing thought-provoking imagery and intelligent storytelling and devoting itelf to creators of all shapes and forms. For this, truly iconic masthead is one of the most recognizable in the world, and the guests at the gala were treated to the opportunity for a photograph with it. Shot by Jan Mayo and art directed by Marc Pagdilao, take a look at some of the best mementos of the night via Vogue Philippines and its sisters MEGA and Lifestyle Asia.
