Singer Chappell Roan’s incredible summer—which includes Coachella, Governor’s Ball, late night talk shows—has been filled with sing-alongs, dance routines, and over-the-top fashion looks.
And then there’s the glam. While Roan is self-taught (and did her own beauty for the cover of her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess), she also works with a talented team that includes hairstylist Dom Forletta and boundary-pushing makeup artist Andrew Dahling. Delightfully, each step is chronicled by her on-tour photographer Lucienne Nghiem.
From full body paint to bedazzled lids and hot pink lips, Roan does it all. “Beauty isn’t everything, it’s the only thing,” she told us in an interview moments before she hit the Coachella stage. “I wish I made that up.” Amen.
