This year’s Met Gala theme celebrates the Costume Institute’s new spring exhibition, titled Superfine: TailoringTailoringThe craft of cutting, shaping, and sewing structured garments such as suits, blazers, and trousers to fit the body precisely. Is there a dress code?
The dress code for the event will be “tailored for you.” The dress code is a nod to the exhibition’s focus on menswear, and is “purposefully designed to provide guidance and invite creative interpretation.”
Who are the co-chairs this year?
The 2025 Met Gala co-chairs were announced back in October of last year, and will include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour. LeBron James will also serve as an honorary chair.
