Chanel taps Pedro Pascal as its new ambassador following a series of early appearances for the house.
After a series of soft launches across recent events and award shows, Pedro Pascal has officially been announced as the newest ambassador of Chanel.
Chanel officially announced Pedro Pascal as its newest ambassador on April 13, 2026, through its social media accounts. The announcement follows a series of recent appearances that positioned him closely with the house’s latest chapter.
At the 98th Academy Awards, Pascal wore a custom Chanel look featuring a white, open, jacketless shirt paired with high-waisted black trousers. The outfit was anchored by a chrysanthemum-inspired silk and feather brooch on the chest, along with a matching cummerbund that added structure to the silhouette. Months earlier, he also attended Matthieu Blazy’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in a custom, understated three-button cashmere sweater. He was there in support of his sister, Lux Pascal, who walked the runway, marking an early and personal connection with the designer’s debut for the house.
“Pedro is a wonderful man and an incredible actor. His kindness, talent, and his vision of the world are both inviting and inspiring. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Chanel family and I’m happy to embark on this adventure together,” said Matthieu Blazy, creative director of Chanel, in a press statement.
Following the October 2025 show, Pascal was also seen in New York City carrying a yet-to-be-released flap bag that he previously brought to the Paris runway presentation, subtly weaving the house into his everyday wardrobe.
“I love Matthieu’s vision, which I find powerful, elegant, and incredibly warm: it shows me how we could exist together, there’s something for everyone in his universe. I am happy and honoured to join it and I am eager to see what Matthieu has planned for the future of Chanel. The House has a remarkable ability to honour its heritage while remaining modern and relevant, and I am excited to be part of that evolving story,” said by Pedro Pascal in a press statement.
Pascal is known for his work across film, television, and theater, with notable roles in The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, Fantastic Four, Eddington, De Noche, and the upcoming Behemoth.
The announcement lands amid a busy slate for Pascal, with upcoming roles in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and Avengers: Doomsday shaping the year ahead.
