Simon Porte Jacquemus Twins With His Grandmother at the 2026 Met Gala

Each of Simon Porte Jacquemus’s collections is a tribute to his family, either directly or indirectly. Case in point: His latest fall 2026 show (“Le Palmier”) featured a key detail that only those closest to him would recognize. All the models sported the same flippy high ponytail, inspired by how his two-year-old daughter, Mia, wears her own hair, like a palm tree swaying in the wind. Around the same time this year, he also appointed his grandmother Liline (who had previously modeled for the house in 2020), as the brand’s first ambassador. So when it came time for him to walk the 2026 Met Gala red carpet, it only made sense to do it with her as his date.

They matched for the occasion in immaculately tailored, optic white ensembles, designed by Porte Jacquemus himself. He clutched a bouquet of paper flowers in his hand, while Liline sported the Valérie—a sleek top-handle purse with a jewel-like ring closure that’s a newer addition to the brand’s handbag lineup, named after Jacquemus’s own mother. A true family affair.
