The queen of glam shared snaps from her Fourth of July on Instagram, and it was her gold jewelry that caught our eye. In particular, her nameplate necklace.
Lopez’s pick—an all-caps, gilded ‘J-E-N-N-I-F-E-R’—was styled for a pool day with exaggerated Fendi shades and a coral-colored one-piece. We couldn’t help but think about Carrie Bradshaw’s own iconic nameplate necklace, known as the “Carrie necklace” for its role in the franchise. Are there two more stylish women to take accessory inspiration from?
Though perhaps a bold choice for a pool day, the necklace was subtle in the world of Lopez, who is never one to skimp on accessories: From an impressive collection of oversize hoops to her bedazzled Starbucks cups, the pop star enjoys turning heads. Her necklace certainly makes a statement.
