Cardi B Is Fit to Print at Vogue World 2026: Milano

Come on, Vogue! Cardi B hit the Vogue World: Milano runway dressed in a very on-theme look.
Cardi joined many friends of Vogue on the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II runway, celebrating the skilled artisans who shape Italian fashion. Vogue World: Milano stretched from the Renaissance era into the future, and the rapper—dressed in a spring 2018 Versace dress featuring pop-art renditions of past Vogue covers—took part in the Patterns section of the show, which paid homage to Italy’s love of bold, colorful prints. Finishing off the look were a pair of gold, diamond-encrusted Tiffany & Co. bone cuffs and Versace shoes.
Walking in a history-making show at the Galleria would give any person jitters, but Cardi is a seasoned fashion professional. Back in 2023, she made her runway debut in Balenciaga’s pre-fall 2024 show in Los Angeles, where she traipsed down a Hancock Park street, enveloped in an oversized blue furry coat.
While Cardi’s colorful Versace look highlights Italian maximalism, it also carries a deeper meaning: Donatella’s spring 2018 collection paid tribute to her late brother, Gianni, surrounding the 20th anniversary of his death. For the occasion, Donatella delved into her brother’s archives, reinterpreting some of his most legendary looks—including his spring 1991 pop-culture-inspired collection. Now it’s appeared in the first-ever fashion show at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
