Jennie on the Rituals Behind Her Glow

Jennie has always exuded confidence, something Vaseline recognized in naming her its new global ambassador.

Remember when Jennie said, “If I were to really get trapped on an island myself, I would choose to die with moisturized lips” in a What’s In My Bag interview with Vogue Japan? It wasn’t shocking back then, given the lip balms she always carried with her, including Vaseline Lip Therapy in Cocoa Butter and Rosy Lips sitting on her bedside table. Call it a foreshadowing of what was to come a few years later, as Jennie has now been announced as the new global ambassador for Vaseline’s body care collection.

Just as her song says, “like JENNIE,” the K-pop idol’s influence spans beyond her artistic career, extending even into fashion and beauty. It was evident just by looking at how she got the internet’s attention with her look and the way she carried herself earlier this month at the 2026 Met Gala red carpet. This self-presentation resonates with Vaseline, which announced before the month ends that the idol is now its global ambassador, with a debut campaign focused on her body care routine.

“For generations, Vaseline has created body care products people know and trust,” said Fernando Kahane, global brand vice president of Vaseline. “With Gluta-Hya and Pro Derma, we continue to evolve body care through high-performance formulas designed to help skin feel healthy, hydrated, and cared for. JENNIE naturally reflects that confidence and effortless glow.”

Jennie will be fronting upcoming campaigns across key markets, starting with her debut campaign that aims to show her consistency with routines that make her feel confident. In these exposures, the spotlight will also be given to the Gluta-Hya and Pro Derma body care collection, which takes pride in its non-sticky serum burst formula.

“I love sauna sessions and cold plunges to keep my skin feeling healthy, and afterwards I always reach for a moisturizing lotion to lock in the glow. For me, body care has always mattered just as much as hair and skin care, so partnering with Vaseline feels like a natural fit,” said Jennie.

Jennie continues to successfully plate-spin with her career. With her Vaseline campaign feature now live, she is also preparing to headline the Governors Ball Music Festival on June 7.
