Ariana Grande Goes Back to Her Signature Pony for the 2026 Golden Globes

After years of enjoying her icy blond hair, Ariana Grande has now taken it back to the basics. For the 83rd Golden Globes, the Wicked star donned darker strands styled in her signature pony.

Styled by her go-to stylist Alyx Liu, Grande wears her hair up and slicked back in a high ponytail. Parted at the side, one hair tendril is left out and frames her face. It’s a bit of déjà vu—Grande’s signature hairstyle, since almost the start of her career until being cast for Wicked, was a high-and-tight ponytail.

Her makeup, courtesy of makeup artist Michael Anthony, was done with her R.E.M. Beauty products. Anthony went for ethereal and classic glam with a minimal touch. Grande wore a glossy pink shade on her lips, sculpted cheeks with subtle shimmer, and long lashes.

Grande is nominated for best supporting actress for her role as Glinda in Wicked: For Good. This marks her second Golden Globe nomination for a legendary portrayal of the good witch of Oz. Though it’s a loaded category, many have praised Grande’s performance and suspect she might come out on top. So while we wait and see one thing is certain: We have been changed for good.
