All the Most Romantic Beauty Trends at the Sense and Sensibility Premiere

An English romance is plum inspiration for a great beauty moment, what with its windswept hair and flushed cheeks. None is more classic—or referential—than Sense and Sensibility, all 18th-century undoneness set in the tobacco browns and greens of the British countryside. The novel alone is enough to spawn a thousand ideas for make-up and hair, but for those short on time, have no fear: the film’s second adaptation, directed by Grace Snell and starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, is nearly here. And with it, a bevy of ravishing beauty is sure to come, if the looks from last night’s premiere are anything like it.
From Edgar-Jones’ chic undone updo to Bodhi Rae Breathnach’s rosy cheeks and sparkly pink shadow, classical romance was out in full effect. There were even looks for the East London lovers, too, though, like Esmé Creed-Miles’s edgy shag and grungey eye.
