Bia Catbagan

Bianca "Bia" Catbagan is a Los Angeles-based Filipino director and photographer who leads development at Indie Pop Films and volunteers at Cinema Sala. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University where she studied directing and screenwriting. Her films have been screened at numerous international festivals including Outfest Fusion, the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival , Asian American International Film Festival in New York, Seattle Asian Film Festival, Micheaux Film Festival, and the Bogotá Music Video Festival. Beyond film direction, Catbagan's photography has been honed through working on events such as the New York Fashion Week, Philippine Fashion Week, The Governors Ball Music Festival, and Life is Beautiful Music Festival.
