MGK and Alex Consani Bring Sporty Eco-Chic to Vogue World: Milano

MGK is no Vogue World newcomer. After all, the singer attended the event in Los Angeles last year, donning vintage Jean Paul Gaultier for the occasion. But at Vogue World 2026: Milano, he wasn’t just sitting front row, taking in the action—he walked in the show, right behind model (and Vogue World veteran) Alex Consani.

For his Vogue World runway debut, MGK (formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly) wore a neon orange Byblos suit and Camper shoes. (His accessory? A cigarette, which he puffed defiantly as he walked). For her look, Consani wore Bottega Veneta, namely: look 80 from Louise Trotter’s fall 2026 collection, a bubblegum pink, ankle-length dress.

MGK and Consani’s looks are part of the show’s fourth act, “The Age of Intelligence,” which highlights the convergence of craftsmanship and technological advancements and nods to Milan as a hub where research, manufacturing, design, and creativity meet. One of the products of that synergy? Italian tech fabrics.

“When you think of Italian tech fabrics, it’s often linked to sports, and you think Moncler, Prada, Diesel, or Ferrari, all of them,” Lady Amanda Harlech, who is on the team bringing Vogue World: Milano to life, told Vogue ahead of the event. “They all have the leading ability to create great fashion that is extraordinarily sporty. But also that they’ve come up with ways of recycling and using recycled material,” Harlech said, noting that Consani’s Bottega look is made of recycled fiberglass, highlighting the way that technology helped usher in a new form of sustainability—and a new era.
