Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse Get Romantic in Contrasting Couple Style at Venice Film Festival

The 83rd Venice International Film Festival has already given us some red carpet moments to remember—but the arrival of Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse may have just clinched the best dressed couple prize.

Pattinson and Waterhouse made their VFF 2026 debut on the Primetime red carpet yesterday, September 5. For their rare shared red carpet moment, Pattinson opted for an all white custom Dior Homme suit with a soft pinstripe, which he paired with a white shirt, navy and red striped tie, and brown loafers. Waterhouse—devoted to a retro, glamorous, bohemian style—chose a sheer, gauzy, gold-embellished longsleeve mini-dress with silky pink cuffs from the Saint Laurent pre-fall 2026 collection, with sheer tights and pointed, curve-heeled pumps. Her layered hair and choppy bangs were styled tousled, suitably rock star-like, and she sported a rosy pink lip and red manicure. It was a sleek and polished yet contrasting couple style moment for the engaged pair: Anderson man, Vaccarello woman.

The couple were cute on the carpet and in the theater, posing cheerily together and sharing several kisses as Pattinson enjoyed the movie’s enthusiastic seven-minute standing ovation.

The A24 movie stars Pattinson as an uncanny embodiment of Chris Hansen, the idiosyncratic host of 2000s TV phenomenon To Catch a Predator.

From Wild Horse Nine star John Malkovich in Hodakova and Bode to supermodel Mariacarla Boscono as a self-described “Matthieu Blazy princess,” it’s been a fashion-filled Venice for the ages. And now that Amal and George Clooney have absconded to Lake Como, Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse can hang on to the best dressed couple crown.
