In Makati, Parisian Fashion is For The Family

Children’s fashion boutique Kids around hopes to elevate the family wardrobe with the launch of its first concept store in Manila

Children’s fashion has changed quite a lot from the superhero-printed graphic tees and tiny cargo shorts of years past. In their own unique, oftentimes adorable way, many fashion houses have translated their seasonal releases into “mini-me” editions, bringing a new level of creative expression to the little ones’ everyday wardrobes.

Dressing kids, however, isn’t purely for comfort or a one-size-fits-all mindset. And for Kids around, this new era of sophisticated childrenswear was seen as the exact shift the brand needed when it launched back in 2018. “Kids around’s visual identity has been carefully refined to reflect this balance between prestige and accessibility. Our colors and graphic universe express both joy and sophistication, which are at the heart of our DNA,” says 360 marketing manager Audrey Ogier-Collin.

Since then, Kids around has housed creations from the likes of Givenchy, Chloé, Kenzo, and more, curating apparel for every stage, from newborns to teens, with pieces that balance comfort, mobility, and self-expression. With locations in London, Milan, and New York, the shop is now on its way to launch its first-ever boutique in the Philippines this August.

Inspired by the Haussmannian apartments (a style that defines the Parisian cityscape), the upcoming flagship store features high ceilings, intricate panelling, and parquet flooring, the first of its kind in the Philippines, as Ogier-Collin claims. “The new Kids around concept store in Manila was conceived as an immersive reinterpretation of Parisian living,” she adds. “The central pop-up area, inspired by the greenhouses of Parisian gardens, also serves as the heart of the store, all reimagined in a playful and colorful way for children and families”

Inside the boutique are pocket areas that reflect the visual languages of each brand it carries, turning its curated selection of sought-after mini-me brands into stylized sections of a modern home. Here, the shop’s opening lineup ranges from BOSS’s “mini-me” variations of its classic yet sporty tailoring and Chloé’s softened, free-spirited take on bohemian womenswear to KENZO Kids’ East-West blend of cultural iconography and Givenchy’s detail-oriented approach to everyday dressing.

“From the very beginning, Kids around was built around the idea of curating the best of children’s fashion under one roof. What differentiates Kids around is its ability to create coherence across these distinct brand identities while respecting each label’s unique DNA,” Ogier-Collin explains.

Kids Around also plans to launch its eponymous Spring-Summer 2026 collection of vintage sportswear-influenced clothing, blending the vibrant color palettes of the French Riviera with playful yet versatile silhouettes. “At the heart of this transformation are four core values: Fashion, Family, Optimism, and Emancipation. These pillars now shape everything from visual identity and store design to storytelling and customer experience,” says Ogier-Collin.
