“Style doesn’t always have to cost a fortune,” so said Law Roach. For Zendaya’s latest turn on the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour, the stylist honored that sentiment and the sweltering temperatures in Paris.
Stepping out a photocall in the City of Light, Zendaya wore a vintage black oversized Spider-Man t-shirt which Law sourced from eBay for $34.99. The top features a simple laser-cut red rendering of the protagonist, and Zendaya paired it with little else, save for a pair of favorite white Christian Louboutin pumps and dangly earrings, a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watch, and her Jessica McCormack east-west cushion diamond engagement ring and wire fine gold wedding band.
Zendaya’s glam followed her current signature look, with a curled and coiffed bixie styled in a side part and a bronzed smoky eye.
Her husband and co-star, Tom Holland, also joined her to meet with fans and speak with press. He wore a custom Louis Vuitton look: a cherry red suite jacket, white suit, black pants, and coordinating red patent shoes. Holland, styled by Crystalle Cox, has tried his own hand at method dressing, with a super subtle spider detail on his custom Celine tie. The couple have also been enjoying married life in complementary red carpet fits.

This latest look follows a succession of red carpet outfits from Zendaya and Roach that push method dressing—a concept they very much made their own through the actor’s Challengers, Dune, and The Drama press runs—into a more surprising, subversive space. Yesterday, she wore a spring 1990 Giorgio Armani dress that featured silvery cobwebs, which called back to the Valentino couture dress Z wore on the original movie’s 2021 red carpet. Other looks have mostly followed a red and black color palette, while a sparkly blue and cherry red Versace crop top and skirt referenced the original Spider-Man suit. Even her makeup has incorporated some kind of spidey detail.
Feeling inspired? Roach shared the original listing—it was labeled in good condition, and a size 2XL so Zendaya could wear it like a dress. Since her step and repeat moment, more seem to have appeared on the site anticipating demand, with one going for around $200. Happy bidding!
