Kylie Jenner to Win Best Wing Woman at the 2026 BAFTAs

Given the trauma of last year’s ceremony – when she endured sub-zero temperatures that forced celebrities into red-carpet puffers, a Take That performance of “Greatest Day”, and presenter David Tennant comparing her to a lookalike – you might reasonably have assumed Kylie Jenner would chalk the BAFTAs up to a bad dream and move on. And yet: here she is again, returning to the scene of the crime, in a Mugler spring/summer 1999 number, to support Timothée Chalamet’s bid for best actor. (She must really like him.)

Since her inaugural awards-season appearance at the 2024 Golden Globes, Jenner has developed a red-carpet presence as relentless as any studio campaign. At the 2025 Globes, she took her place beside Chalamet and his A Complete Unknown co-stars in a vintage Versace chainmail dress that prompted instant comparisons to Elizabeth Hurley posing alongside Hugh Grant at the Four Weddings and a Funeral premiere in 1994. Then came a glittering Balenciaga pre-fall 2024 gown for the 2025 Berlinale; a custom Miu Miu body-con encrusted with black-caviar beads for the 2025 Oscars; and spaghetti-strapped Schiaparelli for the couple’s red-carpet debut at the 2025 David di Donatello Awards.

Back to Hurley: if that slashed, safety-pinned column – notable enough to warrant its own Wikipedia page – proved that red-carpet fashion could inspire as much recognition as the film it’s helping to promote, Jenner’s has shown that the two can actively bolster each other. Consider the his-and-hers tangerine Chrome Hearts at the Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme in December 2025, or the copper sequined Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress she wore at the Palm Springs International Film Festival soon after. Since then, there have been autumn/winter 1996 Gianni Versace Couture gowns at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards and a waist-whittling custom Ashi Studio creation for the 2026 Golden Globes. Chalamet may be the one nominated for Best Actor this evening, but Jenner has the Best Wing Woman category well and truly sewn up.
