Happy Wuthering Heights month to all those who celebrate! Ahead of the grand February 13th release of Emerald Fennell’s buzzy big-screen adaptation, stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are making their global press rounds for the film. That excitement—and method dressing—continued on tonight in Paris.

For the City of Light premiere this evening, Robbie hit the red carpet in a custom Chanel look designed by Matthieu Blazy. “It is such an honor to wear this look designed by Matthieu,” Robbie tells Vogue. “It’s the first Chanel red carpet look I’ve worn designed by him, and I couldn’t think of a more special occasion than for Wuthering Heights, a project that is so special to me.”

The corseted and draped dress—designed in a burgundy silk, velvet, and faille, with an ivory silk faille under-skirt—was adorned with intricate feathers and silk petals. “The colors were so carefully chosen to match the [Paris] premiere red carpet,” says Robbie. (A look inspired by the step and repeat itself—how cheeky.) She accessorized with jewels (over 100 carats!) by Lorraine Schwartz.

Considering Robbie has long been a Chanel girl, Blazy says dressing a star like herself proved to be a completely natural fit. “I have a deep admiration for Margot and her work. Margot has been faithful to the house for many years,” Blazy tells Vogue. “She has a way of making every look her own, with total freedom, and her personal style is a natural extension of herself. I’m happy that the house is supporting a project so close to her heart, and to see her bring this Wuthering Heights–inspired look to life on the red carpet.”

This latest moment follows up several other striking looks from the press tour. Working with stylist Andrew Mukamal, she has worn pieces that are heavy on dark romance, such as a black lace Schiaparelli gown and a white feathered Victoria Beckham tank dress. This red-hot Chanel, however, officially kicks off her era as a Blazy-era muse for the house—meaning, expect some more amazing looks from the house on her soon. “I’m so grateful to my Chanel family for their collaboration on this look, and for lending multiple amazing archival pieces for Wuthering Heights,” says Robbie. Stay tuned.
