Take a slow journey into the poetry and nostalgia of Southeast Asia. Filipino model Chloe Magno is the lone passenger on The Eastern & Oriental Express, a Belmond Train, as it glides across the verdant peninsula of Malaysia.
Through the lens of Hong Kong film director Wong Kar-wai, a dense Southeast Asian jungle drifts past as the train glides forward. On the Eastern & Oriental Express, time slows. Model Chloe Magno drifts through the carriages, effortlessly poised. From bustling towns to silent rainforests, from sunlit coasts to shadowed alleys, every moment feels cinematic.
Daylight spills through glass panels, illuminating treetops and rivers in a shifting tapestry. By night, lights shimmer against the darkened windows, a dreamlike slow-motion passage. A golden-age elegance meets modern style here. Even in stillness, the journey itself is complete. Step aboard, watch the world unfold, and savor the present—slowly, deliberately, beautifully.
