Actress and content creator Rhian Ramos shares how she gets ready in the morning with the Y.O.U Beauty Radiance Glow series
In each aspect of a routine, there is always a step that is never missed no matter the urgency. Be it the first glass of water for the day or a song to set the personality back to baseline, these key aspects are what make routines personal, if not important, to its user prior to facing the day ahead.
For actress Rhian Ramos, her morning starts with a warm cup of coffee sharing, “This is the one part of my routine that I will never ever skip.” In a morning spent with Vogue Philippines, the model-actress shares how she gets ready for the day with the Y.O.U Beauty Radiance Glow series.
While recalling how the large casts in her recent projects have allowed her to enter her “social era”, the content creator then begins her skincare routine with the Radiance Glow Facial Foam. “I grew up in the industry and I’ve been an introvert my whole life; it’s only now that I’m starting to explore what it means to be social also on set”, shares the Pulang Araw actress.
She then proceeds to add a bit of water on the sakura-infused facial foam to bring out its velvet-like texture before applying around her face and the finer areas such as her pores.
The Formula V1 driver also details an aspect of her routine that she has found helpful for her sensitive skin, “Niacinamide has been one of my best friends ever since I found that I had rosacea. It keeps my skin hydrated and bright but in a more gentle way,” she expounds as she applies the Radiance Glow Essence Toner with taps that she says are “more than a pat, but less than a slap.”
Aside from sharing herself as someone who travels to learn other cultures and their skincare trends, Ramos expounds that her routines adapt based on the weather of the countries she visits.
Through her experiences, the now-34 year old finds herself aligned with the gentle approach Y.O.U Beauty has taken with the line, emphasizing on the Radiance Glow Illuminating Serum and its soothing and hydrating properties while leaving a cooling sensation as it sinks into the skin.
She, then, shares how this approach has helped keep her skin hydrated amid the climate as she visits colder countries such as Japan which still stands as the actress’ favored and well-traveled destination. “What is it about going to Japan that I love? Everything really,” Ramos shares as she mentions the aspects of the country that she appreciates the most.
“Sakura extract, that’s what I learned from going to Japan,” she suddenly recalls, “is also a calming, repairing and brightening ingredient […] and Y.O.U Beauty [blends] it with [their] Mizu Glow Technology and vitamin C, which we definitely need for our under eyes,” Ramos continues as she applies the Radiance Glow Advanced Eye Serum on the area.
To close her morning routine, the actress uses the Radiance Glow Advanced Day Cream which allows her to keep the hydrating properties of the products before, while finishing off with a glass-like sheen. “I think that’s the difference with a hydrator and a moisturizer; the hydrator is putting the water into your skin, while the moisturizer is locking it in,” the content creator explains.
For Rhian Ramos, her skincare routine could be just as important to her daily life as her morning coffee. With the Y.O.U Beauty Radiance Glow series, the line’s ease of use and refreshing qualities now allows the actress to maintain her inner radiance through even the longest of days.
