From runway to wardrobe, deputy editor Pam Quiñones leads a private Gucci presentation that brought timeless codes and contemporary sensibilities together in Manila
“Today is all about discovering what resonates with your style,” says deputy editor Pam Quiñones as she opened the private styling session at the House’s Greenbelt boutique. Through a mini fashion show, private fittings, and a deep dive into the Italian fashion brand’s Fall-Winter 2025 collection, guests experienced a rare blend of runway and personal connection.
Hosted at the Gucci boutique in Greenbelt and in collaboration with Vogue Philippines, the gathering drew a cultivated clientele invited to explore the season’s pieces in a way few ever experience. Each guest was given a dedicated hour to preview the looks and work directly with Pam and the Qurator Studio team.
The Fall-Winter 2025 collection, described as foundational, revisits Gucci’s codes while weaving past, present, and future into one continuum. In each session, Quiñones explains that fashion’s value lies not only in aesthetics but in longevity. “It’s not longer just for the now,” she says. “I look for pieces that I can have a relationship with, something that I really love and keep, and make an effort to want to rewear with whatever I have in my closet.”
The session began with a short fashion show, with Quiñones contextualizing each of the seven styled looks. For women, travel or scarf dressing featured a purple floral silk set, a nod to Gucci’s archival prints, paired with a green Siena small shoulder bag. Sport paired a crisp lightweight jacket with a pleated skirt with a striped trim in Gucci’s signature green, and a mini GG handbag in denim.
The fashion look, the only runway piece present in Manila, was styled with a scarf placed on the shoulders, illustrating what the deputy editor describes as “a return to the sensibilities of the 70s.” The ensemble features a light yellow vest dress with maxi buttons, shiny leather with a slide slit, the 97 heeled mule in olive green, and the Half Horsebit necklace used as a belt.
The evening looks shifted into tailoring where a Swarovski-studded black suit and shorts embodies sprezzatura’s balance of polish and effortlessness. Designed with a tailored silhouette in soft stretch cotton velvet, the set carries a bon-ton character, emphasized by its clean lines and construction. An allover GG crystal embroidery is a highlight of the look, integrating house codes within the Pre-Fall 2025 collection.
For men, tone on tone highlighted maroon layering anchored by accessories such as the Jordaan loafers, Horsebit 1955 Aura and Marmont belt. Coastal prep reimagined tailoring for warmer weather with a navy blazer, white shorts, a tie, and G75 sneaker. The tailoring look in sharp black closed the lineup showcased Gucci’s codes and its timelessness.
What also tied the mini fashion show together, Quiñones emphasized, was a distinctly Italian point-of-view. “It’s all about sprezzatura,” she says. “It’s a mix of making an effort, but not wanting to make it look like you made an effort. It’s a way of carrying yourself, a way of life.”
Following the presentation, the styling became personal. Guests were invited to work with Qurator Studio to try the looks themselves, discovering how each piece might enter their own wardrobes. They touched fabrics, tested silhouettes, and experimented with combinations that spoke to their own lives and wardrobes.
