After 10 years of yearly celebration for the growth of its companies and its staff, the GAOC Group of Companies lets its 2024 Christmas Gala pave a unified vision for its future
For an evening at the Solaire Grand Ballroom in Parañaque City, the GAOC Group of Companies (GGC) ended 2024 by celebrating its achievements and shared vision for the future during its annual Christmas Gala. From celebrity guest performances and appearances to a team-based dance competition held amongst the group’s subsidiaries, the night’s festivities emphasized the practitioners and staff before anything else.

As the ballroom opened its doors and guests tended to their seats, actor and host Robi Domingo, alongside Dr. Abby Robles, introduced founder and chairman Dr. Steve Mark Gan’s son, Simon, as well as chief transformation officer Armi Malaluan to kick off the evening’s formalities. After a performance from Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza, Dr. Gan, then, took to the stage to not only reflect on the past year but to unveil the group’s direction for the future.
At the beginning of his speech, the veteran oral surgeon marked the end of its year-end celebrations to shift its focus toward the underprivileged through the launch of the GAOC Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Charity Ball. “We are on a mission to truly make an impactful difference. Through the generous support of our donors, we will be able to provide more life-changing treatments for cleft lip and palate patients, transforming their lives and creating brighter features,” Dr. Gan expounds.
In acknowledging the achievements of his teams and their continued service, the business leader also extended his gratitude toward the government officials and business magnates for their attendance and their continued support in the expansion of GGC’s subsidiaries. Dr. Gan also recalled the beginning of the GAOC Dental Academy, which has since brought speakers from both in and out of the Philippines to share their knowledge and expertise with the next generation.

And with a toast, the evening then opened the stage for a dance competition that included teams from GAOC, Novodental, GanTech Industries, and Samurai Dental Laboratories branches across the country. Moreover, guest performances from the likes of Christian Bautista, Eric Santos, and Bugoy Drilon served as the fanfare to the awarding ceremony which was co-presented by the company’s celebrity ambassadors such as Sunshine Cruz, Albert Martinez, and the Legaspi family.
Actress and model Lovi Poe also took to share her thoughts on being a part of the holiday celebration, “It feels great. I’ve been with GAOC for how many years, and it’s just nice to celebrate such a special moment with them, especially knowing that this is their last gala.”
Since 2014, Dr. Gan created its Christmas Gala as a means to “reward our incredible staff with a night of magic, the chance to step into a fairy tale and to momentarily leave behind the stresses of daily life. It has always been an evening of joy, laughter, and celebration.” And after 10 years, the past year’s gala then served as a reminder to both its founder and the company of the growth it has amassed since its establishment in 2001.
With a future centered on continued service and education, the GCC also foresees an expansion in the greater medical field, which aims to reflect the 55-year-old’s beliefs and values of “teamwork, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.”
