While also giving a glimpse of its upcoming collaborations, Uniqlo unveils a new collection that references classic tailoring, Upstate New York, and the outdoors
For an overcast afternoon at the Gallio Events Hall in Parañaque, Uniqlo hosted a preview event to showcase the LifeWear Fall-Winter 2025 Collection. With a concept titled “Revisiting Classic,” the brand looked to resonate its autumn-hued ensemble with the codes of classic Americana, particularly that of the Ivy League style and its balance of traditional and sporty style and tailoring.
“With this collection, we want to give our customers fresh and versatile garments that are perfect for the season because nowadays, you don’t have to sacrifice comfort to look good. Your clothes should make you feel good, too,” shared UNIQLO Philippines chief operating officer Geraldine Sia.

Prior to the open preview at the main hall, guests were joined by Donny Pangilinan, Solenn Heussaff, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Kianna Dy as they shared a brief conversation on how they dressed their favored pieces from the upcoming collection. Each personality was given a turn to showcase their outfits on stage, with Pangilinan starting it off with a monochromatic blue look, while highlighting the recently released JW Anderson straight cut jeans. “To me, these jeans are all about versatility because I can wear them for work or even just hanging out,” he expressed.
“As a working mom, I’m also moving a lot, so my clothes really get put to the test,” Heussaff later added. Aside from sharing her preferences for more breathable and flexible garments, Huessaff also explained how pieces like the Milano ribbed sweater allow her to put an elevated touch to her cashmere top and long skirt look.
For Curtis-Smith, however, she thought to resonate her outfit with how she would usually find herself wearing when visiting countries with colder climates, later showing off her pink extra warm cashmere HEATTECH, chestnut-colored trousers, and white PUFFTECH cropped vest. “Apart from keeping me warm, I still find it surprising how easy the PUFFTECH vest is to fold when travelling,” she added.

Given the collection’s inspiration from Ivy League styling, Dy later shows off an outfit that combines the subculture’s codes with a squared blazer and short skirt look to layer with her pocketable UV protection parka and AIRism bra sleeveless top underneath. “As an athlete, this is basically my daily wear,” Dy explained. “So pieces like these offer me comfort and ease during my most active training days, but are also capable of dressing them up if I have other places to be.”
As the main conversation came to a close, guests were then guided to the main hall, where library-themed sections featured the collection’s knitted dress shirts, cropped sweaters, as well as a selection of denim bottoms and double-breasted blazers.

This later led guests to a gallery of UNIQLO’s upcoming collaborations, with elevated outerwear pieces from the UNIQLO : C, JW Anderson, and Comptoir des Cotonniers collections to everyday staples from the UNIQLO U and Peace for All Charity T-Shirt Project.
