Through their journeys, five Vogue Faces talents highlight how embracing their skin became part of their style, identity, and self-expression with Vaseline Philippines.

An artist who sees her skin as a canvas, a content creator who found confidence in embracing his birthmarks, and a group of creative individuals who have learned to live with eczema and scars, each personality has a unique story of self-confidence. In partnership with Vaseline Philippines, they were selected through Vogue Faces, an initiative that highlights emerging talents and gives them a platform to share their journeys of identity and self-expression.

At the Vogue Studios event held at The Shooting Gallery, portraits of Paolo Arboleda, Nicole Heradura, Jasmine Moawad, Giancarlo Dimalanta, and Carylle Salvador were displayed at the Vaseline Philippines TikTok Room. Each of them shared how parts of their body, once hidden or a source of insecurity, became symbols of self-expression, a message that aligns with Vaseline’s belief that healthy, glowing skin is for every body.

The Vaseline Gluta-Hya Serum Burst Lotions range is formulated with GlutaGlow™, a brightening ingredient only from Vaseline that is 70x more powerful vs Vitamin C, and 4D Hyaluron for deep hydration. According to the brand, their pioneering Serum Burst Lotions aim to boost radiance and hydration with their unique, lightweight, serum-burst formula.

Arboleda shared how his birthmarks, which cover his back and face, became a symbol of individuality. “Whether it’s a sheer shirt or a tank top, I now wear pieces that celebrate what I used to hide. Through style, I express myself through my skin and tell my story.” Herradura spoke about living with eczema and body hair: “When people see my scars and body hair, they say, ‘Wow, you’re so bold!’ It really empowers me, and I hope it also empowers other people.”

Moawad and Dimalanta both spoke about how embracing their skin allowed them to express more freely. Moawad shared, “It’s my canvas, helping me showcase my creativity, mood, and personality.” Dimalanta, who calls his eczema scars his “leopard spots,” said that ballroom culture helped him build confidence both in face and body. “Every time I walk, I have to walk with complete confidence. I have to convince the judges that I am the beauty standard.”

Artist Salvador, once teased for her complexion and later dealing with acne and skin asthma, shared how dressing up became a way of expressing herself:
